Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Halve the avocados, takeout the pits, and scoop the creamy flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess. If you like it chunky, leave some avocado pieces intact.
  • Add the diced mango, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño pepper to the mashed avocados.
  • Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture. The addition of lime juice not only imparts a tangy flavor but also serves to inhibit the avocados from turning brown.
  • Sprinkle the ground cumin, salt, and pepper over the ingredients.
  • Carefullyblend all the ingredients together until they are thoroughly mixed andcombined. Becareful not to overmix, as you want to keep the mango pieces intact.
  • Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasonings to your preference. You can add more salt, lime juice, or cumin if needed.
  • Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl. For an extra touch, garnish with a few cilantro leaves and a sprinkle of cumin on top.
