Pour the sauce mixture over the lentils and vegetables in the skillet. Mix everything thoroughly to ensure the lentils are coated with the sauce.
Reducethe heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the Lentil Sloppy Joes simmer for5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Add more salt, pepper, or any preferred seasonings.
To serve, spoon the Lentil Sloppy Joes onto hamburger buns or bread rolls. Add optional toppings such as sliced pickles, shredded cabbage, or avocado slices for added flavor and texture.
