Ingredients
  

  • 2 large green tomatoes, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Ina shallow dish, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder,dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the sliced green tomatoes in the marinade, coating them evenly on both sides.Let them marinate for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Remove the green tomatoes from the marinade and place them directly on the preheated grill or grill pan
  • Grillthe green tomatoes for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side or until theydevelop grill marks and become slightly tender.
  • Once grilled, transfer the green tomatoes to a serving plate.
  • If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves for an extra burst of flavor and aroma.
